One of the many boating docks on the Port Orchard side of Puget Sound is an ideal place to take your dog to play chuck-it off leash if you pay attention. The sandy side of the dock past the fence line is private property though I have seen many people walking along the waterfront. The other side of the docks is more rocky (which have cut my labs toes up before, though he is oblivious if we have a ball) and is also private propert a little ways down. Sometimes the homeowners are cranky, but for the most part if you mind your manners and clean up after your dog, everything is fine.
