I really enjoyed my vacation to Maine, but I must be honest in saying that my vacation to Boston was much better. I stayed quite a way outside of Boston in a Victorian home a block from the beach. I got all of the small-town charm of Maine with access to Boston. I think Maine would be great for a week-end home to relax in and take it easy. It’s ideal for those who like to take things slow. It’s not for everyone, but it’s worth visiting. The geography of Maine is undeniably gorgeous! :-)
