Worth visiting!

The little city that could.

Home of Live8 Canada. Almost Toronto, but not quite and almost cottage country, but not quite. It’s the best of both as long as you have transportation. There’s nothing to do in Barrie if you live there, but it’s great to visit, especially if you like the outdoors in any of the 4 seasons. You can ski less than 30 minutes away in any direction, camp, shop, swim, or eat.

I just wish there was a good Italian food restaurant.

Italian food restaurant!

Pizzeria Italia is a very small Italian restaurant downtown which is very good and not too expensive either. It’s been there for decades and has been run by one family this whole time. Also, Nino’s in the northeast end is quite good. Enjoy!

Very True.

It’s nice to visit Barrie if you don’t live there. You’re very right about there being nothing to do if you do live there though.

Not True at all

There alwas stuff to do in Barrie. You can ski or snowboard in the winter. Swim or go boating in the summer, see movies in the theater, go clubbing, hang out at the malls, or what ever. So you people who have nothing to do don’t know how to live
