The Peak District in Northern England lies mostly in Derbyshire but also includes small areas of Staffordshire and Cheshire. It consists of upland areas having plenty of moorland, parkland and rocks. See Peak District on Wikipedia

Peak District National Park

It was the first national park to be created in the UK and now attracts over 20 million visitors per year. It gets a bit busy at times but is still a great place. For more information see A Taste of the Peak District.
