I went there when I was 16 with my best friend whose family is from there. In Monterrey you get a real sense of the haves and the have nots. There are wonderful places to go to in Mont. all very different then the rest of mexico not very touristy with americans but seemed liked a lot of corporations were out there for conventions, american and mexican alike. The falls are really cool, it is a nice switch from the oppressive heat to go to the falls because they are cool and the mist is supposed to have natural thermal properties? Also they have the best taco stands, you buy a bag of 20 mini tacos to share with friends. watch out for the flying cockroaches, aye.
