Out from South Savannah through SW Chatham County. Try that for starters.
Then continue west through Ellabelle, Cypress Creek, Lanier, Pembroke, west to Daisy. There’s a little tiny club behind the BP- Timesaver, whose name I can’t even recall. Everyone just calls it “The Club.”
Then go to Claxton, turn south (left) and stop at the TK’s Lounge on your right before you get to the chicken freezing plant.
If you’ve got a designated driver, or you managed to sweat off enough booze, go south on 301 till after the junkyard on the left, you’re just before you get to the county line and Smitty’s. From there go to Glennville, and drive almost all the way through town before you see, on the left, 301 S, by the Farmer’s Market. On the right is a towing company called D.J’s which has the only bar in town. All they serve is Bud, but it’s cold, and the locals are friendly, but not too friendly.
