Not worth visiting!

A review of this place

Just FYI admission price is $17…totally not worth it. I was pressured in to paying it, because I was with a group…the admission price for this place should be more like $5. It’s actually pretty morally disgusting when you hear how much the woman that built this house spent…all to “save her” from the ghosts of victims that had been killed by Winchester rifles. Instead of dropping that kind of dough on ridiculous staircases that lead to nowhere, how about funding a charity for the widows and orphans of those who died because of Winchester Rifles?

She did not donate the money because there was no such charity back in 1884. Also the idea of donating to charity itself was not very common. The whole reason she started building the house as-is was because she was instructed by a spiritualist/psychic. There was no other choice for her.

Um, many many many wealthy people have ALWAYS given philanthropically to charities. If there wasn’t a charity of that type (which you don’t know for certain…) she could have started one. There was nothing to prevent her and she absolutley did have a choice. And she chose to waste her money on this idiotic house.
