My husband and I had the wonderful opportunity to live in Geneva for a summer a few years after we were married. He worked on research as a student at CERN, and we traveled-usually backpacking-to places in Switzerland and France on weekends including Zermatt, Paris, Bern, Evian, Interlaken, Lausanne, and more. I also spent many days visiting small museums and other sites in the the city while he was at work. We rented a small apartment subletted to us, and we had a wonderful time. The train and bus/tram system is excellent! I love this beautiful country!
