Just got back from a visit to Ireland. My sister and I stayed at the Gallery B&B in Kinsale (two thumbs up) and one night dined at Max’s restaurant (two thumbs way up) where the food is amazing and the service is superb. Avoid the Whitehouse! There are lots of pubs with live music nightly, and amazing art galleries with pieces for sale. The main “town” is small and easy to meander thru despite the throngs of tourists, and a sunset walk along the harbour is just lovely.
