ok, so i was born here and i live here now and i want more than nothing to move to manhattan. lets face it-there’s not THAT much to do here if you’re car-less. but the reason i say its worth visiting is cuz if you’ve got good taste in music (and some random way to get to a venue) then you’ll never have a problem with LI. there’s so many shows goin’ on around here that its hard to see them all. and there’s so many good bands coming outta here, it’s hard not to love it (though you’ll never hear me admit that again.) its good for a visit if you like live music
