Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place

As a Library Zealot I had to visit the new library. Couldn’t they have built this 5 years earlier just to make me happier. I’m telling you, it really bothers me when cities do not plan everything around me! Sorry, I was sucked into a vortex of self-importance there.

Which is kind of like entering this library. It is a visit to a different world. It feels like a library on Superman’s home planet. Vast, awesome, grandiose, inspires you to think in whole new futuristic ways.

Wish I’d had more time, but I had to head uptown for a important surprise meeting with the Robots.

I know! The library is crazy awesome. If you ever have a chance of going back to Washington and the library, you should take a ride on the elevators. I felt almost as if I was in Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. The names they give for each floor and everything is just really crazy but cool.

Hey, you are in Galveston Texas now huh? I went there years ago. Amazing how arm the water was in the gulf and you can walk forevor out to sea without going underwater.

Seattle brings me great joy.

I miss it quite a lot as well. And yes, I’m in Galveston now. My mom lives here. I know exactly what you mean. I remember the first time I ever went in the gulf, I was surprised how warm it was. I was so used to lakes and other bodies of water that were icy col when you first got in! And you can go out as far as the piers and more and still manage to have your head above the water. This mind you is coming from a very short girl. I’m a little under 5’1”. :]

But hey, now that you are in Texas you have to check out Austin. I totally dug Austin. Even contemplating going for my masters there.

Hmm...

What is there to do in Austin? I will have to see about going. It all depends on work and who I meet here that I might actually want to do stuff with. haha. My main goal is getting back to Washington, but perhaps I shall visit there.
