Worth visiting!

Untitled

A friend of mine is visiting from NYC, and she always wants to go to the Crab Pot. So we went. She absolutely loves sitting at the waterfront, enjoying the sun, wearing a bib, and getting in touch with her past prehistoric lives by tearing into a pile of seafood parts. I was drafted to accompany her again since my spouse the vegetarian can eat nothing here. While I do eat seafood, I don’t normally eat this quantity of stuff, so I nibbled a bit while my friend enjoyed herself.

Other than the aforementioned seafood feasts where they steam/bake a lot of seafood and dump it out on the table in front of you, they also have the usual seafood dishes one finds at the waterfront.

I do not particularly care for the seafood feasts, but my friend luuuvvvs them (and I know a few other people who love the place as well). Otherwise, the food is par for the course for the places on the waterfront really. So, since I know people who can’t get enough of this place, it is worth visiting, but only if I am with them.

Tourist Trap

I usually cringe when someone mentions the Crab Pot. The food isn’t that great, and to eat ok-tasting seafood in an area where you can get so much better tasting food leaves one feeling somewhat dissatisfied. However, I enjoy seeing how amused my friends and relatives from out of town get when we do go there. So I agree, that it is worth visiting, but only if your company enjoys it.
