Why I want to go to this place

I saw on Wikipedia that this is where poet Theodore Roethke died:

“The Bloedels ordered the pool filled with soil the following day. It was later converted into a Zen rock garden as a silent memorial to the poet, and remains as such on the Bloedel Reserve.”

A nice memorial, if you ask me.

Roethke Memorial

There is absolutely no truth to the inference that the Bloedel family ordered the swimming pool filled as a silent memorial to Roethke. There is no connection of any existing landscape feature at the Bloedel Reserve, as a memorial or otherwise, to Roethke.
