Afghanistan
I’ve been there, but I dont remember much. My mother told me that where she grew up, in Kabul, Afghanistan, it was a beautiful place, with breathtaking scenery and people who were very intelligent, had a big heart, and full of wisdom. She missed her homeland so much that she went back there 2 years ago. When she came back, she told me she had never felt so disappointed and upset in her whole life. The people have changed; most are just seeking for money. Of course, everything that she remembered as a girl of my age was completely destroyed. She had also said that despite it being a big “culture shock” she hopes that one day when she is old, she can return to the home she loved so dearly.
