It is on the mid+ pricing scale and I can relate to the “stuffy” classification (it’s not a diner). I still find it a good place to get mildly pampered when you’re feeling like that kind of experience. Another way to look at it—I like to go there to have a quieter drink and catch up with a friend. Whereas in my less refined moments I’d opt for something like this.

I’m at a loss as to where I’d go in SF for less expensive food/drinks (I live in Seattle). Suggestions are welcome.
