A review of this place: Dover Castle is beautiful...
even if it’s a schlep to walk up to it! My husband and I enjoyed the Secret Wartime Tunnel Tour the best!

I liked the tunnels too. Could you imagine living in them during the war, waiting for the Germans to attack?

I was in Dover in 2000. I’ve visited England several times since then, but have not made it back to Dover.
I really enjoy England. It’s a beautiful country and the people I’ve met so far have seemed genuinely nice.
