About Grenada...

If i was to live here for a couple of months…you know, just for relaxation and to get away from western culture…would you recommend it? I want to get to get away fro awhile after i graduate from college before i get out in the “real world” and lose my savings :)

what are some of the things to do here? How much money should sustain me for a couple of months? How are the people?

I definitely recommend it.Great to escape. The best things to do are sailing, hiking,Scuba diving, camping out, island hopping(Grenada is a tri-island state and there additional small formations that are very close by),concerts if you are into reggae, soca and calypso, basically anything that involves nature and the outdoors.Moneywise I can’t give you an exact amount but you’ll need a few thousand. The people are pretty nice and willing to help especially if they know you are a westerner. The best way to enjoy Grenada is to have someone who lives there take you around or you’ll just have a tourist experience and see the mainstream places the best parts of Grenada are the hidden places tourists don’t usually get to see.I have a few people who live there so if you really want to go I can get you some numbers so you can talk to people who actually live there now and if you to go someone’ll who’ll show you around.Hope this is helpfull.
