Worth visiting!
I stayed at The Islander Noosa Resort last time I was there, and found it excellent. (I’m not affiliated with it at all, just loved the resort so much that that’s the reason I want to go back to Noosa again). Their web address is: http://www.islandernoosa.com.au/

and had a strange accident where my foot got stuck in an exercise bike – between the cage covering the wheel, and the spokes on the pedal. I wasn’t wearing shoes, and it swelled to the size of a football. My sister had to yank it out and I was on crutches for the rest of the holiday. The next day the resort put up a sign saying ‘please wear shoes in the gym’ to avoid litigation. I wasn’t going to sue anyway – it was the early 90s, who did that?
Anyway, it was a great resort, great swimming pools, great restaurants, reasonable price at the time, but I didn’t like the way they treated me when I needed help with the foot thing. They didn’t help me in case I sued them, that is wrong I think.

It’s awful having an experience like that – you certainly remember it for good. I came a across management a couple times when I was there, and they weren’t like that at all. I wonder if it’s under different management now than it was then.
