Why I want to go to this place
I hadn’t visited it because I’d heard about problems with the cemetary being upkept. However, this has changed in the last few years, it’s supposed to be in great shape now!

Los Angeles
And during the summer, they offer a film series at Hollywood Forever: classic movies projected on the exterior wall of a mausoleum, I think. People bring lawn chairs and picnic dinners. I’m embarrassed to admit that I haven’t been yet. I learned about it when a friend of mine reported that she was driving nearby one night with no particular schedule to keep and saw this long line of cars waiting to enter the cemetery grounds. She thought, “What the heck is this?” and joined the queue, figuring she’d get in on some extraordinary event. She had no idea what was up … and ended up staying for the movie. Watching a film under such circumstances registers with me as a sort of definitional “Hollywood Experience.”
