Lhasa - Kathmandu
We rode from Lhasa in Tibet to Kathmandu in Nepal – took us about 3 weeks… pretty tough going but the best thing ever! Another tip, don’t take your iPod – they don’t work up there!... and who needs Weight Watchers… I lost 10 kgs on that trip…

How to get to Lhasa...
We caught a flight from Kathmandu – took a couple of hours. Excellent viewing of some seriously high mountains (i.e. Mt Everest). The madness at the airport added to the excitement – that was only topped by the first sight of the Potala Palace when driving into Lhasa.
