Worth visiting!

Question: What do you know about Cremant? — 2 years ago

Over on the Licorous page, I saw johnc2000 mention Cremant and a mighty dinner bill. I’ve never heard of the place, but to drop that sort of coin for food in Madrona it must be special. I see Madrona local elizabethu on the list of people who want to go there – but so far, no stories about Cremant. What’s it all about? I’m looking for a new foodie date spot tonight, but I’m intimidated!

Sounds interesting

Their menu (with prices) is available on their site. It sounds like you could make a great meal just from their different pates!

Thanks for the pointer

I realize after looking at the site, and reading some reviews I have heard about this place. Funny I haven’t seen it yet, or heard more about it.

French is not my favorite, but it is great to have a place like this in Madrona. It’s moving up my list of spots to consider . . . maybe I’ll call for a reservation.

Have you tried...

Dulce’s Latin Bistro? The menu changes quarterly, but always good and great wine list. When we lived in Madrona, we also really enjoyed St. Clouds and Cafe Soleil. We had a terrific meal at Bluwater Bistro down in Leschi the last time we were over (a month or so ago). There used to be a great little Mexican place that only did take-out, just a few steps from St. Clouds, that was really good, but I think it is gone now.

i second Dulce's

Cremant is good, but it’s not really a date spot. It’s loud in there (louder than La Carta), which I kind of like, but I don’t think it works well for a date.

Dulce’s Latin Bistro is a great date spot. Their staff is friendly and attentive, but not annoyingly so. Their wine list is freaking amazing as are their suggestions for pairings. The food is delicious as well. If you go while it’s still a Mexican menu, try the creme brulee with mexican chocolate ganache. so good.
