What I liked -

beautiful crisp autumn days,
clean air,
tiny church in Novosibirsk covered in icons,
old wooden houses in Novosibirsk covered with carvings,
really good tea,
lovely warm friendly people,
dinner with poetry and speeches in russian,
some of the best tomatoes I’ve ever tasted, at the student cafeteria at the university
a place I never thought I’d go to and will probably never see again

I went for work, to visit some of the research institutes in Akademgorodok.
