Why I want to go to this place
Gotta see the Spruce Goose! I used to work for Evergreen Aviation so I may as well go and see what all the hard hours I slaved for them produced.

We’re going to go and see the Mariners play the Red Sox but while we are in the area we’re going to drive down to McMinnville and see the museum. We booked our tickets; we fly down to Seattle on the 20th of July dark and real early in the morning. May try to do it the day we get there and stay the night in McMinnville depending on how conscious I am after flying in on the red eye then back to Seattle the next day for touristy stuff and wifely shopping. I’ll wave to ya when I blast through Portland!;-)

It’s about a 3 1/2 – 4 hour drive down (all the way to the Spruce Goose). Do-able after the flight down. I’d recommend staying here. Good beer.

Good beer, wireless internet, a room package that includes tickets to the Evergren museum, and they host a UFO festival? We’re there!!!!!!!!!!!!
