I’ve played (fondled?!) with the rays at Monterey Aquarium! It’s hard to see them as food…. they do go well with that chilli tho’!

BGM: Back-ground music
TBH: To be honest

Marrying Singaporeans is a way to lose taste buds—you end up being unable to taste anything lower than level 9 on the chilli scale.

Hey, tell me about it ;)

Hahaha, you are funny!! Unable to taste anything lower than level 9 on the chilli scale huh? Ya it’s so true, eating spicy food is very much part of our cultures..can’t help it, we are surrounded with so many kinds of wonderful and spicy cuisine here, Malay, Indian, Thai, Indonesian, Peranakan, own local version etc..

Singaporeans in fact are easy to please when comes to food, we are quite adventurous kind of eater since we grew up having to try so many kinds of ethnic food…but there’s one thing we can be very particular, and that’s chilli sauce!! I had to bring along my own chilli sauce whenever I flew back home to Singapore when studied in the States! The chilli in the North America, esp in the U.S. is very lame, taste more like tomatoes ketchup to us :P

Hehe, no wonder you know so much about Singaporean culture… you are married to one! ;)
