A question about this place:
hello again..thanks for all the replies they were helpful. what three star hotels would u recommend in singapore?  — 2 years ago

Answers:

Ok, my turn. I try to come back every year and sometimes hubby and I would go to a hotel for a few nights just to have some privacy and let the kids swim in the pool.

We’ve tried the Swissotel at Clarke Quay (TOP), Intercontinental at Bugis Junction (another TOP), ParkRoyal at Beach Rd (great pool and jacuzzi) and New Park at Little India (convenient but noisy, the Indian guests were not very quiet, I’m afraid).

There are some interesting boutique hotels like Albert Court and a few others actually from converted shophouses in the City Area, but as they do not have pools we didn’t go for them.

Yeah, I miss the buffets in the hotels in Singapore, they are the best. Couldn’t find anything similar in all the places I’ve been to, or at least not in the same price and quality range.

Bon séjour in S’pore!

Holland Village

You are funny gal :D

Of course you could have your turn, my sweet lady…just learn to queue up first ok? ;)

Hey, btw you always seem to have great ideas and are funny at the same time. Love it!

P.S. Oops, didn’t realise Albert Court hotel don’t have pool, hmm, I only go there for the food, not for the room :P
So maybe not so ideal for anyone who love to soak themselves under the hot tropical sun ;)

These 2 hotels -Swissotel at Clarke Quay (TOP), Intercontinental at Bugis Junction (another TOP), certainly look very nice to me, but are they 3 stars? (looks too nice to be 3 stars)
