Worth visiting!

This is where I live

I grew up in little India area, got pretty tired of it, and always wanted to live in another area for a different feel. I have always been attracted by the bohemia feeling that Holland Village can offer; charming neighbourhood and a chic suburban feeling ;) You can find almost everything here, right from tons of interesting shops, cafes, eateries, restaurants, yuppies’ bars(e.g Eski bar-extremely cold bar where you do need to wear winter wear inside), to almost every NEWSPAPER and magazine of the world can be found here.

:)

I actually don’t remember much things about Toronto especially on the areas since I haven’t been back for at least more than 12 yrs already :) But yes, if you talked about Kensington Market, probably quite similar, and I still remember their longest street ever was younge street right? The Chinatown in Toronoto is very cool..probably the biggest one in the world :)

That must be lovely to live near the ruins..I like old ancient stuff like the castles..I generally like things that are Europeans and Bohemian :)

No I don’t have any friends there(Leeds), the Singaporean gal is back to Singapore already and she’s on this 43 places too… And the Swedish friend was there for business only :)

Singapore is like the gateway to many asia and western countries…it’s located in an area whereby we are surrounded by all the very interesting countries :)

Sounds like you’re keen to visit, but I don’t see Singapore on you list? :P

(No cheers now to cheer you, will cheer you later :))

Ok :)

Saw that now, thanks :) It’s so small because it’s one of the smallest country in the world.

Vietnam is not expensive though, in fact all S.E.A is cheap to visit and live in (except Singapore)..The 3 countries that are expensive to live in Asia are Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore..The good thing about living here is we get to go to so many countries in the region and with so many cheap budget airlines flying out every hourly :)

I supposed you are male?

Korea and Taiwan?

Somehow I was under the impression that it was just as expensive to live in Korea or Taiwan as it was to live in Japan or Hong Kong. My well-traveled friend, could you enlighten me as to just how wrong this impression is and why I happened to think that?

Well..

South Korea and Taiwan are equally expensive too, but the rating over the past years always fluctuate very inconsistently, and it’s always among these 5 countries..I mentioned only Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan earlier because they somehow seem more prominent, cosmospolitian and internationally well known. The 4 Asia tigers are Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea btw.

And if you want to talk about cheaper shopping among these 5 countries will be Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea, not Japan and Singapore :)
