Worth visiting!

Overheard at this place

Nothing overheard here…it was deathly silent.

A great memorial to those who sacrificed their lives in our behalf.

This memorial has had a guard posted to it 24/7 since 1937. It is a true honor to be one who is selected for this duty.

Yes, it certainly is an honor...

to guard the Tomb. It was a clear, crisp spring day when I was there. The view, straight down to the Pentagon, was totally unobstructed. After 9/11, I wondered what it must have been like for the guard on duty that morning from that vantage point.
