A tip I have about this place
I was gobsmacked to learn that Big Ben is really the Large Bell inside of the Clock Tower. Looking at the Tower you can’t see Big Ben ~ you can only hear him!

I try to
get out and walk when I can – it’s surprising how close together some landmarks are, which you would never guess if you only relied on the Tube.
It gets a little bit more difficult when it rains though, as our streets aren’t always that wide, and then you have to negotiate everyone else’s umbrellas!

Yes, rain is part of ,,,
the Seattle experience. I’ve lived here forever and only last year got an umbrella to keep in the car. I’ve yet to use it :- )
