Parker Dam
Worth visiting!

Parker Dam sits on the Colorado River just north of Parker. It’s right where the dam is at. It’s a small little community.

I grew up in the area, just south, in Parker. Had lots of friends who lived in Parker Dam.
New Isabella
Augusta
from the small community of Clark’s Hill, SC., which right by the Clark’s Hill Dam on the Savannah River. Clark’s Hill sounds kind of similar to Parker, geographically speaking.
The Savannah River flows from the mountains in Northern Georgia southeast to Savannah, Georgia on the coast. The river forms the border between Georgia and South Carolina. Augusta is located about halfway between the mountains and the coast, right on the fall line of the Savannah River. The dam forms a large lake northwest of Augusta which is still called Clark’s Hill Lake, although the lake and the dam have been renamed from “Clark’s Hill” to “Strom Thurmond.”
