This is turning into the place that never happened for me. I keep trying to go to this place … and failing. Two years ago, we planned to go to this place and then friends talked me into diverting and going to Umbria instead. Sigh — Italy can always lure me away….

This year, we planned to go to Beijing … and then Continental announced they would start flying to Athens on June 7. So we went to Athens instead. There’s something about those Mediterranean countries.

Perhaps China will be that long-off oasis that I always strive for but never quite get around to arriving. Sort of like the vacation destination version of reading Proust. Who was it who said in his journal “I am still reading Proust?” I am still going to China … someday.

Why not next year? Next Olympic Games will be held in Beijing oh. but If China is good fun in the case, the Chinese learn more. After all, with proficiency in the use of English is not as many people, especially spoken English. I also use the tool and you chat, I guess I have more to learn the English . If not I will drop out of. China always welcome you.

Well, there's a problem...

I work for an airline and fly stand-by, which means I get on if there is space. Since many people will be travelling for the Olympics, I imagine China will be a very popular destination next year and I will probably have trouble getting a seat.

But I am going to try anyway. You are doing great on your English, by the way! I don’t know ANY Chinese. :(

This is indeed a problem,Between Olympics,There will be a lot of people gathered to Beijing.The biggest problem is:Where accommodation.Most of the people who have lived in the hotel will.so,If only it is to travel,During that period of time is not a suitable time.
