Worth visiting!

The last time I went to this place

I spent most of my time in Israel/Palestine in the West Bank…in particular, East Jerusalem & Bethlehem. It is a maze—the occupation, Israeli checkpoints, the looming separation wall, late night ‘raids’ and immense Israeli settlements strategically growning from within the West Bank.

But a most beautiful people that desparately need to receive the support of the world community as their rights continue to diminish.

I’ll be leaving in October as part of a volunteer delegation to help with the olive harvest. Excited but quite nervous!

Excellent...

I was nervous before I went also, even nervous enroute. But once I arrived I knew I was HOME. (Now I’m plotting & scheming on when I can go again!) Where will you be working geographically? Keep me posted, I would be happy to answer any questions that may arise for your between now & then. You will be engaging in wonderful, important work.
