San Luis Obispo Wanderlust

My good friend Julia just got back from spending a year in France and was craving a taste of the culture she already missed so much. She heard of this little cafe on the edge of town. We made a little trip out there and it was the lovliest treat! The shelves of freshly baked breads and counters filled with fresh pastries and coffees and expresso… mmm.. it was wonderful! I cannot wait to go back!

Truly disgusting.

Not as well-kept as the Mission Santa Barbara, but interesting in its own right. Historical displays are cursory, mostly Native American-related.

I was there in the mid 90s, and at least back then, the airport only had two gates, and the largest planes it could accommodate were prop jobs!

Worth visiting just to say I’ve been there. You have to see it to believe it!

studied forestry and finished in 2001! we come back just about every year for open house or chinese new year to watch the lion dance team when CSA holds their banquet. oh… plus we always hit up moe’s, firestone, and splash cafe ^_

i will stay in every room. at least every room that has a rock waterfall shower and/or fireplace.

so far i’ve stayed or been in: wilhelm tell, buffalo, and cuernavaca.

is the “waterfall” in the men’s restroom… just because I walked in without telling my best friend what I was doing, and she yelled, “what are you doing?? That’s the men’s restroom!”

Worth it to say you’ve been here. I just wouldn’t touch it if I were you….

Go there on a Monday evening and you can witness the Swing scene of San Luis Obispo, swing dancing the night away… it’s extremely entertaining, and it’s free to watch or participate.
