call me a nerd, call me poor, but i love the library.

I installed cabinetry in one of the shops there (lived in phx 28 yrs)

I have two small children & they love the zoo each time we go.

If you go in the summer, there is a mini water playground area for the kids. Many people don’t know this, but can pack your own lunch & take it into the zoo with you. It saves $$$, eating at the zoo can get a bit pricey.

The Phoenix Zoo has also been voted on the of top 5 zoos in the nation for children. There are many programs geared toward school aged children & several interactive things during the school year. I recommend checking the website for the times & costs of those programs.

ZooLights runs from late November or early December usually through the first weekend of January.

I like T-4 & T-3 most since the brunt of the friends I have
work these terminals.. and I can get whereever I need in a
hurry…

This park is about a block away from where I live and it is a great place to walk. Just bring LOTS of water and try to stay on the trail. If you go for a day trip there are lots of great boulders and nice spots for a picnic. Do some exploring!

Went to a company sponsered christmas party at dusk at the Phoenix Zoo. What a great place to party! Able to wander specified locations in the park, lit by christmas lights, sipping wine! Wonderful time!

As of 1994, they had large continential breakfast and a different free supper each day: hamburgers + hotdogs on Mondays, soup on Tuesdays, baked potatoes on Wednesdays, lots of sugar-filled snacks on Thursdays. I loved it.

It’s a pretty nice airport. If you connect here, you have a bit of a walk, but normally I don’t mind.

If you leave the airport it’s either really pleasant outside (winter) or really hot.

This place rocks!!! I had the Jamaican Black Pepper Shrimp and Banana Cream Cheesecake. Of course, I was absolutely stuffed.
