How this place changed my life  — 2 years ago

I got my degree here! Great place! Didn’t really make that many friends here, but I guess I did distance myself from people…

Love...  — 2 years ago

I went here on my first date with my current girlfriend. We met from online, she was nervous so was hiding in the bushes, but I still saw her :)

City Museum And Art Gallery

Worth visiting!

Bristol Museum  — 2 years ago

Usually has a good exhibition on the ground floor, along with the permanent collections upstairs. Everything from ancient Egypt, animals, gipsy caravan, more paintings than you can shake a stick at… Family fun days organised each month – um it’s usually best to avoid these as it gets kinda busy. Very decent cafe (always my priority). My son especially likes shutting himself into the luggage lockers, not sure whether that’s technically part of the attraction, but hey, when you’re 3 these things count.

St Werburghs

Worth visiting!

St Werburghs City Farm  — 2 years ago

Yes, the climbing centre is pretty cool, even if like me you just sit on the balcony and watch all the athletic types. However, the real reason for going to St Werburghs has to be the city farm. Kids love seeing the animals, and the adventure playground, while grown-ups like the fantastic cafe (Wed-Sun) – chance to enjoy a cuppa while the littluns romp about outside.

Best indoor climbing wall you can go to( its a converted church). Good training for climbing outdoors at the seawalls.

Clifton

Bristols best suburb  — 2 years ago

One of the poshest parts of Bristol, Clifton has a reputation as something of a village within a city. Bounded by the Downs on the north, the Avon Gorge to the west (with Brunel’s Clifton Suspension Bridge), the docks to the south and thriving lively Whiteladies Road on the east, Clifton has everything. Some people never leave.
