was for a graduation ceremony, was so chuffed with myself for finally struggling through the course I had my head high after getting my cert and nearly marched right out the back of the cathedral. Non Uni of Kent people will still find this one of the tip top cathedrals in the UK. I particularly like the skinny sad jesus on the gate as you go in, and the gothic colonades.

I sang in the lovely Canterbury catherdral while on tour with the choir I’m in. It was beautiful and the concert was amazing.

I was born there, so I think that qualifies at life-changing :P Go to Dartford, I think you will be surprised…

I loved Dover. Nice people and beautiful buildings and scenery.

Take your time getting there. My husband and I got off at the bus stop and walked quite a ways before reaching the walking path to Dover castle. Obviously, it was narrow and steep. Here is a small sample of what the walkway looked like…

even if it’s a schlep to walk up to it! My husband and I enjoyed the Secret Wartime Tunnel Tour the best!

It’s truly worth the trip but you must, must, must bring your sweetheart with you. Hugs, kisses, & the extra warmth does wonders!
