A question about this place:
I'm going to take the Empire Builder across the upper midwest and plan on stopping in Whitefish for the day. I don't drive well, but I'd like to see the area. What are some cool things to do and good things to see?

My mother lives in Whitefish! My brother sells real estate there.

It is very quaint…lots of little shops, a micro brewery and of course Big Mountain ski resort is beautiful.

You will be right at the US side of Glacier National Park and the going to the sun highway! If you get a chance please take a tour bus into the park.

It will be worth your whole vacation!

Cool! I think I’m going to do one day in the park [with the bus tour] and another day either wandering around Whitefish or taking a hike in the park.
