Hey Mike,
I’m from Göteborg, Sweden. You should totally come here and live for a while! :-)

As Bucko38 said, it does rain quite a lot, mostly during late October to late April. It’s kind of windy too.

We have 4 different seasons, that all differs. During winter it sometimes snows, but it usually melts away in a few days. Temperatures from -5 to +5 degrees celsius.

Spring can get rainy but that’s when the light returns. Winter is really dark. Temperatures from 0 to +10 degrees celsius.

Summer is beautiful. Best weather usually in July and beginning of August. Temperatures around +15 to +25 (but right now it’s over +30!).

Fall is my favourite. It starts raining in late september/october, but there can be some beautiful days anyway. Temperatures from +15 to 0 degrees celsius.

I would like to compare the climate of south Sweden (it’s very different in the north) to New Yorks, but cut off the extremes (the humidity in the summer and the icy cold in the winter).

Let me know if you want to know something else and let me know if you decide to go here!

Many thanks for the info. I have been thinking about living and working in another country for a while now. I’d prefer to move somewhere within the EU and many people have recommended Sweden. I think I will holiday there soon.
