Sorry, but your directions make no sense to me. You seem to be describing a place that would be in rue de la Montagne aux Herbes Potagères, between A La Mort Subite and the Radisson SAS; but if you were going there from the Gare Centrale, why on earth would you detour through the Galeries St. Hubert when you could just turn right towards the cathedral, then go down rue d’Arenberg or rue d’Assaut? Anyway, I don’t know but will look next time I’m in the area.

if you detour and go down the stairs and through the galleries you can stop by Quick and grab a hamburger :)

Well, I couldn’t find any 7th Hole in the area, I think it is now the Pura Brasil. The Lop Lop, btw, which has been something else in between, looks like re-opening as Churchill’s English Pub one of these days. I don’t know about exchange students but interns seem to hang out on the terraces of Place du Luxembourg these days, if that’s any help.

I went to the Churchill’s pub yesterday and it was great. Very classy and affordable place, rare for an English speaking pub or bar in Brussels. It’s just next to the Brussels Opera.

Who hangs out at Place Lux? Place Lux Sux! I find it very boring there everything is there closed and only old people are around there. Downtownn is the only place to be.
