A question about this place:
In September, I'm planning on going to Venice then on to Crete. What's the best (read: cheap-ish) way to proceed? I can't book anything too far in advance or on too short notice...

Venice in Italy(?) and then onto Crete, sounds nice. How many days can you spare for Crete ?

have you checked the www.hotelclub.com ? They tend to have good deals on Hotels.

I probably will have 2 weeks – maybe three – for the whole trip, which may or may not include a stop in England.
The only place I’ll need accomodation is Venice – thanks for the website info!
