I loved the area and had a great weekend there. I would suggest going to the library and picking up a Fodor’s guide to Colorado and/or CO Springs.

Don’t expect to make the drive this time of year (winter/spring) and probably not until after Memorial day. If that’s when you’re going then don’t expect to go to fast and you’ll have to stop to pay tolls anyway. If it’s a nice day it’ll be crowded, too. For road info call (719) 684-9383

im going in late june so hopefully it will be nicer weather than it is now. i guess they say it takes an hour up and an hour back. i just want to make sure i get in to colorado springs early enough in the day that they let us go up
