A question about this place:
nice town? hows the area? im tripping through and will be staying at the ramada, then doing the pikes peak thing. whats the speed limit to the top and whens the latest you can arrive at the bottom and be allowed to do the drive on a saturday?

I loved the area and had a great weekend there. I would suggest going to the library and picking up a Fodor’s guide to Colorado and/or CO Springs.

Don’t expect to make the drive this time of year (winter/spring) and probably not until after Memorial day. If that’s when you’re going then don’t expect to go to fast and you’ll have to stop to pay tolls anyway. If it’s a nice day it’ll be crowded, too. For road info call (719) 684-9383

im going in late june so hopefully it will be nicer weather than it is now. i guess they say it takes an hour up and an hour back. i just want to make sure i get in to colorado springs early enough in the day that they let us go up
