This might sound like an offensive question but I’ve actually been asked the first time I went to the US.
So the answer is yes. We do bathe or shower everyday. Or several times a day in summer in the south of France.
However, there are statistics that say we consume less soap than Americans but that’s because a lot of French people prefer shower gels so we consume more of those. There are other statistics that show that French women shave their legs less than Americans but that’s because most of them epilate rather than shave.
All this to say that different people have different customs and you need to look a bit further than myths or statistics to really have an idea of what a country and its people are like. This is why a web site like this is great: you can ask that type of questions and get a real answer :-)
