Exactly! I was about to say there are variations in the water depth depending on where you are; even the same canal can have dips and shallow areas and the locals get to know these and navigate accordingly.

What do you think, there is water here. I’m here now Sept 30,2012 never seen a person or anything with any kind of life preservation on or in there boat! What a city!
