I have to chime in for Cozumel. We went there (oh, some 13 years ago for our honeymoon!) It is an island very near Tulum and Playa del Carmen and Cancun so you could see those places but still return to the island where parts are still very secluded and beautiful and you’ll get the delicious food and wonderful culture of Mexico…
