My experience is quite minor, but for what I know people who don’t speak Finnish at all have quite a hard time finding a job in Finnland. I was just applying myself for a job, teaching English to children from kindergarten age to school age. They for example don’t require Finnish skills.

I didn’t get the job, it was just the other day and to tell the truth I’m not sure if I really want it ‘cause I may have other plans. But that site was http://www.speakingout.fi/view.php?loc_id=4
if you are interested. (If that doesn’t work, just try speakingout.fi)

is the address where you want to look for a job when you’re in Finland, unfortunately it is only available in Finnish and Swedish. In the place ‘Kunta’ you write the town or city you want to work and then just hit the button ‘Etsi’. (=Find) If you’re lucky, you find something in English too.
You can ask me if you need translation somewhere.
