Since you’re from Orlando, you may consider Pedicabs as “touristy”.

Many of the ‘cabbers in Savannah are actually architectural history majors at SCAD and can give you one of THE best tours of old Savannah(the whole reason Sherman didn’t burn the place to ashes). I would recommend taking the time to ride a rickshaw here, go to a graveyard or two, and maybe just wander the streets for a few hours in the morning. Savannah is a beautiful place with tons of history… Or you could just get drunk at some local dive, or both. Enjoy your time here and DO get outside of the city to experience the local ecology.

Also, anyone who went to “Benedictine” is a true, OLD school, local. It’s a military school with a very long history in the area. Score some brownie points with very select locals by having heard of it. http://www.bcsav.net/display.cfm?pageID=3
