Wow – such great information. Thanks for the link for KC’s fountains. I’d heard about them before, but hadn’t realized just how many there are!!!
Awesome!
And you’re definitely into food (like me!) so thanks for listing so many eating spots. You’ve been very helpful.

I’m glad to be of assistance and you’re right there are SO many fountains. You could spend your entire time there just chasing fountains. I thought of another favorite of mine, it’s downtown across the street from the marriot hotel, it’s the entire city block long. One red friday (Chief home game weekends) they decided to put red dye in a bunch of the fountains…including that one..and it looks terrible…it looked like mayhem, end of the world style had occured and everyone was horrified…so they had to drain the fountains to get the red out, it was so funny.
If you have any particular types of food you’re into just let me know. For French the coolest is kind of downtown in a slighly run down section of town and it’s called Le Fou Frog, the atmosphere is pretty cool. If you go to KC you’re supposed to have BBQ, but I can’t really help you there (except to say the best thing from KC Masterpiece really is the sauce…lol) because I’m vegetarian. The famous steakhouse is also downtown (20th street) and called Hereford House, I seem to recall it was a little on the pricey side but we took my parents there and they liked it. Again the atmosphere is what I liked. Oh yeah and inside Union Station there is a restau that’s pretty fabu, ate there many times.
Anyway, have fun! I’m here if you have any questions during your planning, as I said aleady happy to help. I’m jealous if anything…lol
