1. lidia’s on sunday for brunch
2. oklahoma joe’s for bbq
3. mccormick and schmidt’s for happy hour 4-6 M-Th

for doing:
1. the nelson and the kemper museums
2. shopping from the plaza to 17th st.
3. hookah at the jerusalem cafe (it may be closed already)
4. i hear the new power and light district is amazing.

going out, you have a lot of options. plaza, downtown in the martini corner, westport, power and light, legends…

kansas city has a lot to offer, don’t go in august, it feels like hell, humid humid hell.

OMG I can’t believe I forgot to mention Jerusalem Cafe! Good job!

And you silly folks and your humidity…hahaha…you need to come to the south (NC, SC, GA, AL, Louisiana) if you think KC’s got humidity…lol.
All in good fun though, yeah it is HOT HOT HOT in the summer no doubt. And that’s the only time the wind doesn’t blow too :)
