I went in August a few years ago for a wedding of a college friend and it wasn’t overbearingly hot. The art museum is good there. And, Figlio’s is a pretty good Italian restaurant, too. They’re the ones that did the catering for the wedding. There are tons of options for shopping and other restaurants, though. I’m sure I haven’t had to explore all the tourist things, either. But, I really like KC a lot. I hope that you have fun.
