“Went to Lincoln City last year & stayed at Spanish Head. Trying for someplace different this year but still on the beach. Driving from Portland..any suggestions? 2 adults & 1 child.”

I suggest going to Oswald West State Park. Take a tent. Camp in the campground and spend your time down at beach in the cove there. It is a fantastic place to be.
