Well, in general the city of Copenhagen (or København in Danish) is VERY safe.
Aalborg is on the other side of Denmark- are you taking the train out there? So would you want to stay near the train station?
I loved staying at the Best Western Hebron. Its about 1,050 – 1,450 kr. ($205 – $290) per night. It was a wonderful place to stay, and close to the train station. Breakfast is included in the rates.

I’m not sure other hotels- I stayed with friends the whole rest of the time I was in Denmark.
I hope you have an awesome trip- Denmark is such an AWESOME place.

It’s a difference of 38 DKK (5 €). I think by bus it will be over 6 hours. The train is only 5. Also, you can take the train from Københavns hovedbanegården (Copenhagen’s central station) or the Airport, Ørestad, or Nørreport, which are all on the metro line too! That bus only leaves from Valby st. or the airport, if I am looking at the right one :D
Just looking out for ya!
